Swordfish, Dolphin, & White Marlin Deep Blue Report

Went out for Swords with Captian John Peel, fishingpalmbeach.com on
Wed 8th to take a break from the BHC and fish for something other than Sharks.

A shot of LWP, someone with a Black shirt was fishing the end.

It was almost flat calm.

Sneak attack baits :D

Sun went down and the minor bite was on!
John Peel is one of the best out there for what he does.

We got those cleaned up and on ice and ended up finding some larger Swords.

It was an awesome fight to watch, this sword came up 4-5 times before he could gaff him.

Got him all cleaned up and on ice, then we got two more.

Then he let me get my first one solo, we are using hand lines. ;)

Then I got my 2nd one. :D

The smaller one was a harder fight for me.

We got a nice White Marlin that I have video of posted on the link at the bottom.
Then we starting getting ready to head back and all of the sudden, I see a long line out right infront of us!
Capt. Peel had the boat in nutral as soon as I said long line! It was a close call put we took as much as we could out
of the water so other boat wouldn't get messed up going to the bahamas.

almost 1 mile long.
We got some of the floats in then John saw dolphin hitting our scraps.

We got all the floats back and all the line in and headed back.

These were on the rope that must have been on the bottom for some time.
John thinks the rope was from a golden crab trapper.
Slasherx4 will have to tell me what this creature is, I have no idea.

Check out the video I took of our trip, Tell me what you guys think.

Incredible report, I know from experience that fishing for swordfish is practically an art to be learned and that guy seems to get it done like some of our best in Miami. The video was pretty cool and white marlin are pretty rare but not unexpected in the same area as swords.

Just an average fisherman.
