Has anyone been fishing skyway? What kind of tackle and bait are working??
fished the skyway many times i used to use rays there and would get a run about every other night i reccomend if ur out there to look at the tides before you go cause you can only really fish one tide unless u want to drop ur bait straight down

Let Me know Ill meet you up there ill stay all weekend thats normal how Ishark fish I tend to stay out for 72 to 96 hrs straight then come home
I have done a lot of grouper fishing off the pier u can catch a bunch of mackerel as well I would say if u wanna try to catch grouper I would go now and not wait till summer just cause all the tourist come and that's when all the undersized grouper strt getting thorn in coolers so If u want a keeper u need to go before it warms up also I've seen people jogging for pompano a lot of jacks in the summer a lot of goliaths so it's a great fishing spot I have just stopped fishing there cause it will run u dry a 4 dollars a car and 4 dollars a person
ok im at the skyway evey weekend buacuse i work there but if i had a choice it wouldent be my spot to fish untill it warms up a bunch to be honest nobody hasent hooked caught or seen anyone catch anything in like a month lol there isent much out there if your lucky you may get a grouper to hit but they have been real shy for a while know if i were you i would wait untill it warms up the fishing will go off
