Looked rough in Lake Worh today so I headed North.

I got to Sebastian around 9am.
Tons of finger mullet and silver muller.
All I could catch was bluefish so I went back south.

There was some small snook in the surf.
The End was so packed I had to move on.

Army Plane?

Got to Ft. Pierce around 12pm.
Tons of pilchards and deens no fish @ the jetty though.

So I hit the catwalk and I'm glad I did.

Put a live shrimp down and the last of the incomming tide and
get a small 13inch muttom.
Next shrimp goes out and grover. 12 1/2 inch

I kept doing this over and over and the the tide started to go out and
the sun started going down.

27 inches.
Gag

To much driving today 8-)

I always look forward to your reports. full of pics and info.

i was up at the ft. pierce jetty saturday morning with my dad. just walked it and didn't do any fishing. but we did fish a beach just south of it. got some bluefish to eat before a storm rolled through around 11 or so.
and the turning basin is jewfish city if you can find the path to get a vehicle back there. ;)

The boat ramp is perfect to park @.
You can float your bait on outgoing tide real easy from the catwalk.
Your going to need a weight on the bottom of your rig and a balloon on the top.
Use a hard lifesaver candy to tie your balloon on.
It will float right over to the turning basin.
But baits don't last to long out there.

The problem I'm having there is boat traffic

yeah, boat traffic is the only reason we don't balloon off the catwalk. we have done it, but only for bulls just outside of the main channel in the basin. or on incoming tide you can go to the short catwalk and just pitch a bait right into the channel. we've had baits get picked up in only a matter of minutes by doing that.

message me if you ever head up this way again. me and tightlinez always drive back to the basin and fish there. we kayak right out to a hole we found and drop baits in there. we have yet to pull out a jewfish smaller than 5' from there.

I snapped my fenwick up there on one of those jewfish.
I really don't like to mess with them. It's like fighting a huge rock.
I try to go up there and check it out atleast 1 time a month.
Next time I'll let you guys know.
