This past Saturday we did some spearing before the wind picked up. A few wrecks off Marathon is 120' and 165' respectfully and later got some bugs, hogs and a couple of nice blacks on the reef. Viz was 40 feet a best and the current was very slow. Also shot my biggest AJ to date. Unfortunate that our dive got cut short due to two very friendly bulls. :o

Awesome day of spearfishing!! Thanks for posting Johnny. You ever dive or spearfish the "bridge span" wreck (old 7 miler)in 105 feet of water?

When out on the boat sail to the middle of the seven mile bridge where the hump is ,then find 105 feet on your bottom recorder and WALA!!!The bridge span is the old middle section of the 7 mile bridge that was sunk directly out in front of Moser channel decades ago when they built the new bridge.Big Muttons, permit ,grouper and Cuberas there,Be careful with all the fishing lines w hooks hanging from different parts of the wreck,,Bull sharks too.
