Thur night went shrimping behind the Miami Herald building with my brother Jerry his daughter and son,Joy and Jeremy and my son Jimmi Dean. We caught a five gallon bucket and a half full of shrimp. In total 45 lbs of good size shrimp. 
In last week my brother Jorge the "miami shrimp king"has bought and sold.,shipped out over 500,000 lbs of Biscayne bay caught large shrimp.He's slept maybe 4 hours in the last week he was telling me and his voice was scraggly ,he sounded very ,very tired.Now's the time to break out the dip nets and use them on the bridges,,go get em !!!Wintertime shrimp are the biggest of the year because when they run in the spring they will be a much smaller version in the currents.
