Our friend Hector and attendant to several SFSC events including the 2010 Ceremony Awards just caught this White Margate last Saturday (2/6/11) and is currently the pending All Tackle World record for White Margate, the thing was huge!!! I was there, he caught it on 30 lb. line with half a goggleye in approx. 170 -200 feet of water. Current all tackle: 18.8oz. Hector's fish weighted in At Crook & Crook IGFA scale: 19.8 lbs - a whooping full pound heavier!!!
P.S. The pinks and cooler in the background are MINE!!! Including my largest ever and NOT common: a whooping 21.5 lb. MUTTUN Snapper.
