I've been fishing the Palm Beach Inlet on the south side from Oct 1-7
Tons of silver mullet, black mullet, and large mud mullet coming through.
Tarpon, Snook, Jacks, Snapper & Hammerhead & Bull Sharks.

47 Incher around 25-30 lbs hit a large silver mullet.

my dog grabbed my bait!!!
Was fishing with the Jetty Conch's.

Here is some vids of the tarpon & jacks beating up the mullet.

This is the tough part running on the rocks following your fish.

Wife caught this jack on a Sabiki she was proud of it.

Had Jr. there in the baby cage for good luck

Had to put the other one in the sand so he wouldn't get into trouble.

On Oct the 6th I saved some of the bigger sized mullet and
let them sit in the sun for a few hours untill the sun went down.
Rigged up a 2, 10/0 mustad hooks and 200lb wire with a 6 oz pyrmid sinker.
Casted out about 20 yards on the ocean side of the jety around 9pm.
bait sat there for about 2 hours then the clicker starts going off.
I let it go for about 1 min then set the hook. It starts dumping line and running hard south bound.
So i run off the jety and start running the beach with the fish.
Walked all the way down to reef road fighting the fish, then the line goes slack.
I reel in all my line, he had me down to about 80 yards of line left,
I hold around 390 yards on the 4/0 penn 40lb test.
I get my whole rig back and the hooks are bent back.
I think it was a 5-6ft bull shark that i had been seing all day in that area swiming back and forth.
I caught a 20+ lb Jack with a couple that walked out on the jetty I think there names were
Dylan and Sara they took pictures I'm wait on them to send me the pictures.
But when we put the jack back in the water the shark came in and ate him in 3 passes. earlier that day.
Got ahold of Dylan here are the pictures of that Jack.

Here are some more videos from that day I just found. 12/9/11

My oldest son Luke with his 2 starfish

Big Jack caught back in the 90's by my dad Jim Harris
He actually fell down into the rocks and dropped the rod and still got the jack in :P

A bunch of snook we caught in September of 1993

King fish that hit my bluefish I was reeling in. I was proud of this one 1998

The Harris and Paty Family Sept 1 1993

Jim & Chris Harris Inlet side fishing "The Crack."

My first snook 18 inches I was 6 years old casting a Croc Spoon in the mullet run.

My 32 inch 18Lb Snook caught when I was 10 years old
12 lb test spinning reel G Loomis rod on my 10th Bday
Mullet run Croc spoon.

And a Snapper 13 1/2 inch on a plug on 10/30/11 Finger mullet run.

Some surfers on 10/30/11 got this small spinner on a live bluefish

There is a good Finger Mullet Run going on up there right now. Had alot of large schools coming out last night @ 8PM

I live right across from the Rapids Water Park, But I fish out the Inlet where P-Nut Island is on the South Jetty on Palm Beach Island, across from the Pump House on the north side of the inlet.
