I had a massive spell of bad luck recently and it's shakin' off quite well. Here is proof, setting foot on a pier I haven't been able to in 10 years or so.
This is the Newport pier, every angler in the picture has fished the pier long ago; fished it since before the great hurricanes of the past blew it to bits.
My luck transferred back to Adam as I walked up and he caught his first bonefish on a rather lazily tied chicken rig.
Then today I caught a rare and elusive Miami Horse-eyed jack.
Just an average fisherman.

Those jacks pull hard for their size.
