Fished Key Largo (Molasses Reef)last Sunday with my buddy Tom out on my boat and ended up catching the biggest fish of the day on the smallest rod (10 lb test spinner).Just when you think the fishing is crappy along comes a beast like this to save the day and make you feel like screaming HOLY CRAP I"VE HOOKED A MONSTAH !!!! The big pinky was winning the fight the first 5 minutes til I was able to slow her down and turn her head.This 12 lb Mutton snapper hit a yellowtail jighead with a strip of ballyhoo drifted back in the chum slick we were fishing for yellowtail snapper and not having much luck until the mutton "made my day".Fought it for 10 minutes on my Shimano spinner with 10 lb test mono.
