keys report

I headed down to the keys for the last night of the no limits tournament because my friends were staying at a hotel which has a dock that has a bunch of local bull sharks. i went to the local charter captains to pick up some fresh Bonita for bait i was in luck they had to many they said but i could only fit 2 in my tiny cooler but that ended being plenty. so we head back to the hotel and my friend zack and his mom were cooking up a feast again i was in luck i was starving . After my belly was satisfied me and zack went to the dock and got our baits out we waited and waited till finally we got out first hit it was on the 12-0 it was taking good line i was about to set the hook and then it stopped i thought it turned around on me and was heading toads me but no i got cut off on something. i was so mad but whatever i figured i would get some more hits so i put that rod back out. Again back to the game i hate the most the waiting game it ended up being about 4:30 ish and i packed up and went back to the hotel for some much needed sleep. zacks mom woke us up at 9:58 saying the breakfast ends at 10 so we ran out to grab some breakfast but we got there to late and that’s what inspired us to go out and get some fresh fish for lunch just us 2 going out on his 19 cobia . we got out 3 miles and we jumped in and found this huge coral head about the size of a small car i dove under and there were so many lobster i would say about 300 -400 I’ve never seen so many lobster in my life we quickly got our limit and now i wanted some hogfish and shur enough there were 2 eating small lobster we shot them and decided to run back home because we had to be back by 12 by the time we got in it was past 12 and his mom was waiting for us on the dock and she looked mad but when we tied up we showed her the fish and lobster and she got a lot happier lol we cleaned the hogs and lobster and had lunch and quickly after that we went with his dad and ran all the way back to flamingo in search of some redfish snook see trout and permit we got 2 of our species i got my first see trout and zack got his first redfish and also we got a 33 inch bonnet and what i think was a small scalloped hammer but I’m not Shure hear are the pic enjoy !
