Juno Pier Isaac Storm Repot 8-26-12

Got to the pier around 8am strong winds North East.

Bait was all around the pier most of the day.

Put out a baby treadfin out first bait and a nice blue hit.

But out another baby threadfin and.... I got the biggest snook of my life.

I'm going to say 35lb+ some of the other guys out there said 40+
I couldn't hold him out he was to heavy, in the picture he's up on my leg.
Got him on my starrod 8ft and the reel im trying to sell TLD15 with 40 andy mono
50lb mono leader 6oz pyrmid.


JD and JD showed up
1 JD got one.

1 JD lost one.

Alot of Jacks, Blue Runners, Lady Fish, Blue Fish, Snook, Tarpon & needle fish hitting my diamond jig every time. :evil:

2 Snook one 35-40lbs Biggest I've caught in my life so far. & 15lb. All released. JD dropped my phone in
my back backpack the black hole of fishing tackle. I couldn't find it in time, & had to put the snook back in the water. Lost one in 10lb range waiting for the drop net.

Fish

3 blue fish
2 jacks 2-5lb range
2 lady fish small 3lb range
2 blue runners 2lb range small

Bait

baby treadfins
sardines
baby jacks
pilchards big ones
Butter fish
&
Gogs

awesome report jimmy, i had a blast out there fishing in that crazy stormy weather. thanks for putting up my snook. congratulations on that beast snook you caught!! i wish i could have seen that monster in person.

that snook is massive. u put a ruler on that thing? looks like it'd almost top 50in

I'm guessing it was around 45-50 inches i don't know tho
I just wanted to get her back in the water quick.
I even had a tape line with me. :oops:
I'm going to have to measure the c-mint part of the pier it was on and try to figure it out.
I have the bolts to get size from and my foot
or i could measure the planks height and do it that way. :lol:
I guess this will be my new "CSI" i mean "FSI" mission :roll:
