:D Went to LakeWorth Sunday with Mark and Adam. The ballyhoo were under the pier and we freelined them for Macks' We ended up with ten nice Macks up to four pounds. The next day I went by my self. It started off slow and ended up with lots of action. I caught a Mack and sent it out on my speedmaster full of brand new Andy 30 lb.test. I COULD STOP MOST FISH IN THE OCEAN EXCEPT A HAMMER. I hook a fish that hit the mack not knowing there was a HAMMER was at the pier. It pulled a lot of drag and finllay frayed me off. I put a longer leader on and sent out a live runner and got hit. It burned two hunderd yards and spit out the bait. I was reeling in the bait. When it got close the bait was on top and the hammer was following. One of the fisherman there said keep reeling hes on you. But i drop the bait there. He said why didnt you keep reeling and I told him he will be back and no sooner than I said he pick up the bait. I hook him again and was getting stripped again. this time I put all the pressure I could put on 30lb test with out popping the line. It got ot the end of the line and I held him for five minutes at the knot before he pop the line. later a school af black tips came it they caught two. A good day fishing at the pier

Jd that's awesome. The fish are always attracted to you man. When are we going to hit the west coast? What are the rules at Lake Work in regards to Shark Fishing and maximum reel size?

Luis,

I think the max size at Lake Worth is a 4-0 & no, you're not supposed to shark fish. What can you do if you catch one by accident???

No Shark fishing and 4/0 max size reel and they really do enforce that rule there. Its against the law in the City of Lake Worth to shark fish off of land or anything connected to land. When I was a kid we used to hook Hammers there once a week or so but we were always overmatched fishing with the 4/0.
For the last week or so we havent been seeing any sharks at all at Juno. I caught one 30 pd tip on a runner meant for Cobia but thats it lately for sharks. We have been gettin tips off Singer though.
