I gigged up some rays this morn at sunrise. Was chased all over Northshore Beach by huge bonnetheads! Seriously 4 1/2 to 5 foot! They were all around me, everytime I forgot about em, another one would pop up. They ran as shallow as 2ft and were "trying to sneak up on me"! Twice I had to jab at them with my dull ass gig to get em off of me! Was likely a riot to see from shore! I was 100yds out in waist deep water yelling at the water and trying to scare them off! Was pretty funny but they were pretty damn aggressive and some of the biggest Ive ever seen! I may play with em on light tackle tomorrow morn! :D

 I was a lil more concerned with keeping em off my feet! Pesky, agressive lil buggers! Wish I had a "go pro" to video me fending them off with the gig!

LOL!! I have heard stories about sharks runing ppl out of the water, at my secret fishing spot , had surfers tell me about Bull Sharks chasing them out of the water, I am the one that PADDLEs the bait out in the surf , had BT come next to the yak checking me out, or smelt the bait in the kayak. BUT NEVER BEEN HARASS BY SHARKS. not saying it could not happen! water is geting HOT .
