Went to Ft. Pierce on sat around 11:45pm
The tide was outgoing good @ 12am.
Got some nice Threadfin's in the cast net.
I got a ladyfish and put it out and it gets nailed on my 12 0 
But I miss the hook set 
There was tons of seaweed getting on the lines all night...
And crabs guarded it...
So I get another Ladyfish and put it out on my 12 0 again...
1 hr and 15 mins go by...
And I see my line go slack all of the sudden...
I set hook after reeling the line up tight on the fish...
The fight is on with a big daddy jewfish.
I was solo so these are the best photos I could do.
My New 12 0 and My old rod I had my 9 0 on.
He cut back a forth a few times but I could not get him to surface long enough to snap a picture, he wanted to stay on the bottom 
This was my best attempt on a photo, I ended up just popping the line.
So I headed south back to my spot in search for some jacks and snook.
Oh man I got this photo by luck 
This is my new set-up for casting plugs and jigs.
Gator Glass 20-40 super whippy and a new Penn Squall 40 Star Drag.
No luck there, maby next weekend.
I got a hit from a spinner but missed hook set...
Like my Dad said I only have a picture of Threadfins and a Crab so I didn't catch anything

Good report, I recommend rewrapping that rod before you hook into the wrong jewfish

do u know the number on that harnell
Nope but the adhesive is so old it has a brown tint to it.
This is a chunk cut off the bottom.
I had it locked down with 130lb mono and it was pushing the limit of the rod.
