As a tradition we compete against each other to see who catches the most Muttons in any given trip, no other fish qualifies as a catch not even grouper, we only count the number of Muttons, and the angler with the most Muttons at the end of the trip earns the tittle of "High Hook" It is not easy feat, in all my years this is only my 3rd "High Hook"
As far as contributing and giving back to the sport (and to this forum) I have done PLENTY in the little time that I have been a member here, including several extensive tutotrials, no... you will not catch me posting many "one sentence "I'm straight" type lingo... I consider that to be of llittle contribution to this forum...
As far as the competitive nature of the sport... I did not know it was a NEGATIVE to post one's accomplishments. As far as I know members of this forum engage in various tournies put out throughout the year by the SFSC itself and I did not know that it was shameful to claim victory, as a matter of fact MOST members of the SFSC post their winnings and accomplishments at the bottom of each of their posts.

This is Shannon Bustamante Speaking, and we have met before, i think nothing but great things about you as a humble human being, and an excellent fisherman... We have met in the keys,and at wills house for the shark club parties.
The Loud mouth Show Boat Comment was just me giving an example to William Fundora of a lot of Old Shark fisherman we know from the past, and alot of the Kids fishing now a days. It was directly towards William and regarded nobody on this Web Site. I used that Comment as the Splitting Opposite of what my Great Freiend William has grown Into!!!!!!!!!!!!!
