Cold Morning 12/03

The cold weather has settled upon SW Florida and with this change of season comes a change in fishing. With a strong wind blowing out of the northeast and a negative low tide this morning, I decided to fish the deep backcountry in hopes the fish have pushed back there seeking warmer water. I covered around 10 miles today but didn't see as many fish as I expected but it was still a great morning with some quality fish caught..I can't say it enough, how much I enjoy jumping tarpon while bundled up in winter attire.

Thats a banner day if you ask me, considering how the fishing has been lately..nice tarpon, tough to find em much bigger than that around here once the water temp drops.
