Spoke to my friend Ulyses Garcia yesterday and got his report from last weekend .They sailed over to the Bimini's in RayRay's 34 Contender and they dove south of Bimini in 40 feet of water and got some black grouper and a 36 lb kingfish that dragged the guy around quite a bit.He told me the current was pretty vicious so they were having a hard time going deep and finding the fish they wanted.He did tell me that he saw the biggest Mutton snapper of his life,,,he says the snapper was like 35 lbs and i told him the world record is not even that big ,,,he insisted it was huge,i told him maybe he saw a true american red snapper ,,no way he said a mutton,oh well. They anchored up in the afternoon behind the concrete ship to eat a bite and relax and while they were there they caught a mess of lane snapper.They came home early the next day when they heard the NOAA report that a front was moving in.
