With Debbie wreaking havoc on the surf, and keeping us from the beach today, Sharkbait91, his gf and I decided to head to a friends neighborhood golf course to get our fishing fix. We were not disappointed!
Danny's fatty to start the day

I strike back with a nice decent sized one

Vicky even got in on the action.
eyes bigger than his stomach!

Caught a few more but didn't get pics, even had one go airborne on my popper lol.
hopefully the weather clears up soon and we can get back to sharkin!!!

Ive taken up the same recently in my pond too, helps when I need "my fix". Ive started to throw 10 inch worms to try to weed out the smaller ones but those goofy fish will eat a worm the same length as their own body!. Nice catches btw!

Thanks, yea I tried using larger worms but the small bass half the size of it will still hit em lol
I started using pretty much exclusively topwaters because I like to watch em slam it

Love the topwater bite too! Just tough to get em to eat them in my pond. For some reason they only seem to like worms crawled super slow along the bottom, Or spinnerbaits. But I live 25ft from the shore so I throw and test all kinds of things :D and have caught them on just about anything at least once. They can be a blast when the surf is up :D keep on catching!
