Fished the Keys on my short trip back to S FL. We ended up doing very well. All my kids ended up catching large nurse sharks. I ended up catching a stout bull over Maryland Shoal, landed and relased about a 250-300 Jewfish on 40 lb test. Hooked a very large bull in the gulf over a wreck......fought it for 2 hours every time it surfaced......it was followed by about 30 cobia (we limited on cobia). Awsome trip.....pics to follow in the next day or two.
Side note......my youngest daughter 9 wanted to do 2 things on this trip:
1. catch a shark
2. Harvest a wild hog
She did both.....talk about a proud dad!

Very good trip......make it down from Iowa once or twice a year. The fishing was awsome......had 2 large bulls tag team on one of my cobia. Wish I had a camera. Time to switch gears to hunting.
