Shoot yea chris some great fish. Is it odd to catch an aj off the pier? it is here. Those boats are costly. our tuna trip was over 200gallons. Cant afford that many times a year. good luck with the fresh bait. people get mad at me for useing my aj's for bait but i still use the whole thing.

That is the only AJ other 1 or 2 pounders that I have ever seen caught off a pier. That was the first big one I have ever seen swimming by a pier at all. Really surprised me.
Thanks for the nice comments. It has been pretty slow at the pier lately and too rough to go out on any boats. All I have been catching is snook and that stopped after the 15th because season ended. I ended up catching 25 keepers this fall season off Juno Pier.
We are going to try and go trolling tomorrow but we'll see what the weather is like.
