This tuna was caught in July 2010 off the coast of Ocean City MD during the 23rd annual Tuna Tournament. It was approximated to weigh 350lbs and was 76 inches. It was a big fat Giant Bluefin. Should have won the tournament for 2nd year in a row but had to release tuna due to "NEW" federal regulations. This fish blew my back out and put up a hell of a fight! Just waiting on King Sailfish Mounts because this Tuna is going on my wall.

Yes the population is definately in trouble..The commercial fisherman are killing them off along with the disaster in the gulf because that is where they spawn. That Tuna was worth $175,000 during the tournament and we had to release it..The thing died anyway from the fight..So basically it fed the sharks..Such BS. But if I caught the fish north of little Egg harbor inlet in NJ the fish would have been legal..Go figure..Instead a 70lb tuna won the tournament. King sailfish mounts is making me a replica. I want to get some big Florida sharks now!
