Have you considered handcrafting one? Or modifying the one you have? I mean, you can get as rustic or antique of a look you want if you custom build it or have it built. Just an idea. I change grips on my pistols and it totally changes the look and feel. There's a huge difference between my contour rubber grips on my Springfield .45 and the most recent change to Cocobolo wood grips. I would think the same may apply for reels. A sealed wormwood grip would look very old school and have the rigor to hold up to the job at hand. Just a suggestion, may be easier and more cost efficient than finding an original. I'll still keep my eye out for you, and ask around though.
