Hi im looking for a 16/0 because i just got spooled on a 14/0 at melbourne beach.I only had the bait out maybe not even 200 yards out and i felt something pick it up and play with it as soon as i set the hook it took off like a bat out of hell and ended up getting spooled to the knot so i need a 16/0 now when i get back to the west coast st.pete area if you know anyone that has just a reel for sale for a decent price hit me up ,thanks.

Just spoke to Alberto(bullsharker33781) on the phone and he got smoked to the knot on his Penn Senator 14/0.he had a whole fresn boniita--one rod -one bait and he had 800 yards of 130 lb dacron on the bottom with 250 yards of 130 lb mono on top.Alberto and his girlfriend were on the beach at 3:15 he yakked out his bait and within 15 minutes was hooked up to a MONSTER shark that hit fast and spooled him faster .he is now a bonnified believer in Monster sharks.he is still in shock -can't believe what just happened to him.

Hey man I had a 16/0 and 14/0s and honestly I would take my everol 12 over both of them. In fact id take my everol 9/0 over the 14/0. Stack braid with a topshot of mono. I run 1500 yds of 200 powerpro (found a killer deal on it) and a 100yd topshot of 130 ande. Idealiy id try to match the braid to the mono but price was great. Go for a real with serious drag pressure
man those SE florida sharks sound like the loch ness monster. sorry you missed him/her. some big fish out there. that 16/0 is so heavy
