selling penn 114hlw
okay for one.. I'm half way with you on the 12/0 only because I found someone who has one laying around and well the 6/0 WIDE SPOOL would work out better for their application.
and for 2... The 9/0 is almost the same reel as a 6/0 wide spool. 6/0 is a slight faster cranking and it hold a little shy of 600 yards of 60 lb mono.
only real difference ..
the 9/0 has more weight and it would fit better on my rod.
how its set up right now it would be ideal for flipping big baits for snook off the bridge.
its a 9 foot gator glass 80 class.
and not its not for sale shes my new baby
had someone want to trade an older 9/0 but i think it was pitted pretty good.
this reel is immaculate
no way in hell will a 6/0 wide will ever be found under 100.. i doubt that highly unless someone is really needing the money.
But everyone has their opinions... doesn't mean they are always right
btw new 9/0s are out they have the red plate... trying to be more like my 6/0W ![]()
