Hello all. I'm a newbie sharker in Melbourne.
I have bean gearing up, up and up for the last few months.
I started with this good condition Penn International II 50TW but have gradually been dumping all my money into nicer and nicer reels so that now I must sell this one. I can send pics if you are interested. It looks good and works better.
I have it on an 8ft Star fiberglass rod that handles much bigger than its 40lb rating. I can sell together or separate.
$290 for the reel and $50 for the rod. Line is not included but I can load it up with new 100lb mono for $10 or with 100lb PP for $40.
I'm currently looking for a 130lb class rod for a Tiagra 80W and might be willing to trade.
you still trying to sell the 50tw? I have one myself and I can say it is an amazing reel, a real workhorse, Ive hauled in some pretty big sharks with it, I do have an almost 7ft igfa all roller guide rod that would be perfect for your tiagra, would you be willing to trade that international for the rod I have, Ill send pics. Hi. I still have the International II for sale. Right now I don't need a rod for the Tiagra 80W though. I have actually thought about selling it but haven't decided yet. Let me know if you are still interested in the 50W or would like to take a look at it.
