I gave those rods a look, pretty nice. Have one question, would u go with the all roller guides one thats 70 inches or the regular stand up thats 69 inches.

Personally I stuck with the regular fuji guides idk how big the rollers are and since I run braid with mono on top I need a rod that will let my knot thru the guides and not catch ya kno if u plan on runninfg straight mono go rollers cuz if they are big then if u did wanna run braid and mono u could but I stayes with the regular guide

does it matter how tall it is..i fish from bridges and piers and thought u should use a fairly long rod, these ones dont seem that tall...just a little taller than me.

Some people say to use a longer rod to me personally if the rod has enough to can pull the shark out and these rods do I stopped plenty of sharks from hitting the pilings by lockin down and pullin out again it all depends on your preference if u want a longer rod with some ass look for a 8 ft star rod deluxe 50-80 lb class thoae things are longer and got some serious ass

I mean I run my 900h which is a little bigger than a 9/0 on the 100-130lb davis rod anf I have not had problem on bridges piers anything with that rod it is a beef stick lol I couldn't see me breaking it without an avet trx fully locked down bridge or pier side

Only problem I see with longer rods and heavy drag is makes you work more when fighting a fish and that's kinda expensive gators are easy to come by I sold my 10ft 130 class for 150 and mine was an original thick walled not these new flimsy ones

And lmao joe :D
