that black trx is sexy as hell.. If i had the money id get it.I would never need to use it to it full capacity but i might use it to help slow down my neighbors when the drive by.. the speed like crazy and i think the 50 trx would be suitable with 1,000 lb cable.

I had a 6/0 loaded with cable. I got tired of breaking off on big goliaths.
Max drag is what 120 lbs? No human being can hold onto that much pressure.
it can be done with the proper equitment long enough to stop a shark aka 5 minutes or less...i mean if a shark can pull 120lbs of drag for longer then that with ease then ill be worried about how we r going to handle what comes in

Just because it has 120lbs of drag doesn't mean a fish is going to pull it out, Obviously if you have 250 yards of cable you aren't going to be fishing stand up on the beach for monsters, but when you are on a Jet ski or boat your reel becomes your own personal trolling motor. IMO Cable was expensive but it worked fantastic, I ALWAYS fished on lock down even with the bigger sharks and it gets the job done without a problem. Only reason i don't do it anymore is because its truly gets boring after a while when there is no risk whats so ever of losing a fish.
Under no circumstance can any one hold onto to a rod that has something pulling 120 pounds of drag on the other end.
That's what ivr been sayin but people wanna believe they can but like I saif unless you can tie a hundred pounds to ut line and lift it off the ground and hold it you ain't puttin a 100+ drag on a fish let alone holding him when he over ten foot and wanna peel out
