The 80-130 is more than enough. I'd try to hold an unlimited class before you buy it.

Why you need a bigger tip is beyond me but if you do cut it down. The Unlimited is basically a fence post, will wear you out before the shark. Cfronz is right, the 80-130 is more than enough meatstick

I like mine, I just haven't put a shark on it yet.
Here was my build page for the 80 - unlimited
http://www.southfloridasharkclub.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=5230

I don't think they make the 80 - unlimited anymore
80-130 is just as good just has alittle more flex to it.
80-unlimited has thicker wall/stronger backbone.
I mean some of the 7-8ft fenwicks I've seen are more stout.

Try Chaos rods in Pompano. Talk to Marshall should have some 10ft. unlimiteds in stock. He's built a bunch of rods for guys in the club, I had an unlimited built for me this past summer. I've only caught two lemons on it so far but I love it. It's a really heavy blank but if you're fishing the bridges its indestructible. It has a #32 tip I believe. Here's a link to Will's he had built for him.
