The winter's coming up, and I'm going to need something nice to pitch baits out off of the piers and jetties that's alot larger than my LX, and of which can handle more than the 21# of drag the LX offers.
Something, obviously, that has a fairly nice freespool. Colors in red and orange are encouraged. Sexy on the 552 I intend on pitching baits out on.

I have had all three of the reels you listed, but for what you are wanting to do find a used Shimano Trinidad 50, it is near 6/0 capacity with a nice freespool and cast control also if you need it. I have had 450 yards of 50lb mono on one before. Makes 30+ lbs of drag too
That's pretty good information to have. So I could easily throw 1000 yards of 80lb braid on it with no problem, huh?
