as you all know i lost my pride and joy because of a careless boater, im a little desperate for a heavy rod for bhc i dont have money right now but i have things that i could trade, i have a calcutta 400 TE on a st. croix which i bought for 600 brand new and through fishing a lot it kinda got roughed up and the rod lost a couple guide inserts but im more than happy to send it in to get them replaced to bring the value to at least 450-400 dollars, i also have a sit inside kayak, 6/0, and a megaladon tooth. just need some help on a setup. if anyone has a ten foot blank like gatorglass or harnell i also need a rod. so just pm me if u have anything that i can get off u, if u dont want to trade im going to be selling my things. it needs to be a good condition 14/0 with heavy drag. thanks

A$$hole careless boaters! That setup was worth more than my Jeep by the way! Im tired of their crap. Just had a buddy get spooled by a boat speeding too close to the pier. Hope he likes 65lb powerpro in his prop!
If that were me I would have shown up at his house with the us coast guard. Sued for reckless endagerment.and I would have made him go swimming to find my reel. The worst I ever had was some douche bag came way to close to the pier and grabbed my dads rod and spooled all 400yards of 80lbs test braid off of it.
ya i just got into a fight at the same bridge when a guy hit my 6/0 line and refused to stop and the birds nest in my reel wouldnt allow me to give him line and i was using 100 lb test, i was so pissed cuz he flipped me off when the line snapped i threw ladyfish and bonita on top of him.
I used to carry a slingshot and water balloon launcher (you can send a golfball into orbit with a water balloon launcher btw!) in my tackle box when we fished the Suncoast Tarpon Roundup from Redington pier but local law enforcement doesnt like that. The guys loved it though! 
Inconsiderate and dangerous boaters are a major problem in my area, and it seems like no one does anything about it. If they know "if we come within 100yds of Redington pier were gonna come under fire" then maybe they'll keep their distance. Ya know? I always yell from the Skyway fishing pier "if I can cast and hit you, you're too close!". Hell, We just had a boat just drift out from under the Channel #2 Bridge into our lines on or last trip to the Keys 3 days ago.
