Anyone looking for a Spinning Rod to handle the BIG Ones?

then why not do all rollers. and rods have been built with normal guides for years and nothing has failed on them. i wont even use rollers on my acid wrapped rods cuz i dont see the point unless all the rollers are in a row.

between me and Scott we have built around 15 prototypes and this is the last prototype built, this rod is in availible 7' or 8'.
the rod in the picture was scott's last proto in 2007 we are done tweeking the rod and now ready ready to take orders. We designed this rod for huge spinning reels with a lot of drag. In todays market a normal heavy spinning rod cant handle the drag of these new reels on the market Avet's spinning reel (out in 2011), Accurate's SR50 Big Dog, Fin-Nor's OFS 95, Penn's 9500 and the Okuma Cedros 80 and 16,000. So now here is a rod that will handle it all.

what do you mean a butt wrap? are you talking about a rear grip?

Yes the foregrip wrap is a tiger wrap, that is my favorite wrap to do.
