Any body have any idea how much this reel is worth? its the frist 1 ive ever seen the guy i bought it from said there was only 100 an something of them made an mine is the 49th 1 made says it on the side. also what lb test would be good on it? its on a 8 1/2 custom built 65 star rod usa m-30 thats what thr rod says.

to me it doesnt look like a 4/0 it looks like a long beach look on the side plate and google the model of it and it should bring up what line and how many yard it should hold.

it maybe a older 4/0 then or the pic makes it look compressed. but either way check out that link and it should tell you

yea the reel is smushed in like a 14/0. its an antique lol
