Hi sharkerfromstpete:

My name is Norman Bateman. I am looking to get back into shark fishing after a 40 year lay-off. My wife would like to fish also and she thinks she can handle a 12/0 rig like my former wife did. If you have a 12/0 reel for sale in decent condition with all the parts I'll buy it. I can pick it up in St. Petersberg because I just live down the road a short piece.

Best and tight lines,

Norman Bateman

Haze rods are you sure that pink rod i bought is solid? cuz just from bending and testing it, it makes squeeky fiberglass snapping type noises

If it breaks on a fish I'll build you a new one. Just keep all the parts the blank has a warranty. I will reuse the guides on the new one try not to loose them. As for the cracking I use a very hard flex coat that should be what your hearing. Well let me know how it handles a fish. Tight Lines, Travis
