Is Braid I.G.F.A. Good?
No, the IGFA even warns that no super line(braid) manufacture actually breaks at what it says it does, they always over test. But as long as it breaks under 130lbs your good.
If i remember correctly most "50lb" braids are the highest you can go before breaking over 130, some 65lbs also
"Pure Fishing's Norris ranks the abrasion resistance of braid higher than mono — of equivalent diameter. "You get some fraying on the outside, but the fiber is so strong," he says. "Let's say 10 percent of the line abrades, but the line is still three times stronger than mono at the same diameter. " "
