Mine was my 6/0wide everol loaded with 1000+ yds of 80pp with 250yds of 80triple fish (still more room) on a 8ft 100lb dogfish stik (gatorglass) but I recently sold the reel to a good friend. Now ill fish my 9/0everol on my 10ft harnell. Used to fish my 12/0everol on the harnell but just got a harrington 555 for it :)

Rebuilt 6'8" old-school 50-80 Delux Star Rod. Aftco stripper and tip, turbos in between. Beefed up 6/0 Aluminum sideplates and frame, stainless gears, and Carbontex drags.

Gonna upgrade to a 30vsx pretty soon

My chrome spool 12/0 fully packed w/ just over 1000 yds of 100# line on a 100# solid glass rod. I just re-did the drag set and now it puts out nearly 40# straight off the reel without being fully locked down.

Ya internationals are pretty and that's bout it they aren't worth the price go with a big Senator or if stuck on leverdrag go avet or everol

I know that and I would get an Avet, but my best friends dad is on the Penn pro staff, and get their old stuff every year, so I can get a 30vsx used 10 times, then serviced, for a bargain :D
