Has anyone upgraded the drag on their senators? Im lookin into upgrading my 14/0 but wanted to know if it could stand up to 50+ lbs of drag. That's almost 2x stock so I didn't know if it would be able to handle it. Any replies or comments would be awesome. Thanks
Get penn ht100 drag washers. Get the kit, i think 7 carbon fiber washers and 7 steel washers, then get one extra of each. The reel will be fine and have pleanty of drag pressure. I think the new senators have a stated max drag of 50 lbs for the 14/0 and 35 lbs for the 12/0. cant remember.....
