Hey guys I have seen many put around different ideas for beach fighting chairs but all of them seem to have the big issue of it weighing a lot to bring out on a beach. So why not try this idea out....
This one is 275 gallons and may be too large but my buddy has one that is 158gallons (600Liters) and weighs around 40lbs empty.
You can get a marine pump (used on seatow to raise downed boats) for about 40 dollars at Northern Tool and attach a hose, run it to the water and fill her up in a few minutes. Each gallon of water weighs roughly 8lbs so my buddies 158 gallon tank would weigh around 1100lbs.
Then you just need a way of putting a "chair" either on top of it or behind it with your feet mounted up against it. I have been pondering this idea, but figured a good discussion with input would greatly help achieve the chair to stop the beast with over 100lbs of drag!
You could use it to hold live rays also.
