im trying to figure out what kind of blank they used to make this rod there is no info on it other than "custom made for road runner 3/80 salerno rod and reel" the rods total length is 82 in and butt length is 24in it has all aftco rollers. its a total beast and fits my 12/0 good. prob more suitable for a 14/0 or 16/0 to be honest. any ideas on what it might be would be great. thanks in advance

thanks for the response. well its a total beast i got it at a flea market and only paid 70 bucks! has aftco butt as well. and has roller tip and the other rollers are size 32 42 and bottom one is 52. ive never had a rod that wieghed this much. when the 12/0 is on it i hate taking it to the beach because of the wieght lol. so ive never had one of the rods you mentioned but have heard about them and from what i understand they are good rods?

Looks like a solid fiberglass Magnuflex w the old style Aftco rollers circa early to mid 1980's.It is Not a Harnell or Harrington.

All the solid glass rods Ive ever had Ive loved em, sure they're heavier but strong as hell. I have put huge amounts of stress on them and dont recall breaking any. I get most of my "oldies" at flea markets and/or garage sales. I call em my "historic rods".
