Well i got some surf casting guides last christmas and finally put them to use. Bought a daiwa beefstick and re wrapped it with the fuji low rider guides, and a fuji plate style reelseat. total time about 10 hours total cost 200$

Nice rod, what did you use to coat it?

i coated the guides with flexcoat and coated the blank with polyurathane
