Exactally, And You Cant Tie Dacron to Dacron With A Uni or A Blood Knot. It Has To Be Spliced Togerther, But the Positive Is You Can Put A LOT Of Dacron On A Reel Because Of Its Diameter, And If You Need To Add Or Replace Dacron You Can Do It. Thats Why It Cost So Much Money To Buy Dacron

When You Buy a Sool Of Dacron It Has a Splicing Needle With It. The Needle Is For The Individual Lines dacron Has (ie Bigger Dacron Has 3 to 4 Nylons Woven Together...Making One Whole Line) Thats Where It Gets Its Stiffness, So You Use the Needle To Separate The Nylons And Sew Them Back Together. It Sounds Hard To Do But With Practace You Will Get It. Think Of It Like A Bimi Twist Being The Main Line

Exactally,...With Dacron You Can Always Check It Out For Burns Or Abrasions And Replace Whats Damaged. With Mono If Theirs A Frey In The Line And Its Not Shallow You Have To Replace the Whole Line
