Well the 3rd of Jan. completley caused me to step up the Gear! went from 3 shimano 6500 baitrunners, all on uglysticks and tica surf rods 12 to 15 ft. and a 113h penn on 6ft 80lb uglt stick. To a scrambler xt and paddle 400 from gander mt and 1 shimano tiagra 80 spooled with 80 lb. And an penn 80vsx spooled with 80lb both mounted on oceanmaster 130lb IGFA all roller rods. The deal of the century!!!!!!! what do yo guys think? 2 much 2 soon? considering I started my up grade looking for a good 9/0 rod and reel combo.

put heavier line on your tiagra, a reel with drag like that needs 125 or more. with braid backing of course. good luck
Im use to fishing with the 80 wides off shore in tuna town! I am a little or should I say ALOT worried about on the beach. Both rod and reels are like new! and then the right line set up. I personally dont want to run with the hi vis yellow
Nice buy. I got a 12 foot scrambler too. Just got all my rods rigged and ready. 14/0, 9/0, 50wlrsa Tiagra and a TLD50lrsa. I fish a lot through satellite beach and down to melbourne beach. let me know if your ever interested in heading this way.
