Spooling a 12/0

Just ordered an old 12/0 off ebay in mint condition with a chrome spool. What do you guys recommend I spool it with. It will mainly be for beach fishing but I will fish with it down in the keys off the bridges. I had a couple of ideas: 300 yards 100lb J.B to 130lb mono
Only 100lb mono
Only 130lb mono
80lb mono to 130lb mono topshot

Any help would be much appreciated

i have a 10/0 and 12/0 full of 100lb mono 750yrds on the 10/0 and 850yrds on the 12/0.
i would not put anytype of braided line on i have never landed a shark caught on a reel with braid it always get frayed and breaks

Don't you think that if I only have small amount that hardly every sees water it will give me extra capacity and allow me to have even more abrasion resistant 130lb mono?

I was thinking that 80 or 100lb mono might not hold up to pilings and underwater structure well enough though

Like team hot reelz said, straight 100lb. mono to the brim! I'd go with bullbuster or Ande

if it were me i would rather have a 12/0 full of 100lb mono instead of braid with a 130lb mono top shot. for example if you drop your baits 4 to 500 yards out and and get hooked up to a monster thatr burns 200 yards of drag or more your braid is now in the water and is most likely getting rubbed on everything.
if you want 130 mono just save up and buy a 14/0 and put 1000yards of 130lb on it
then you got two nice set ups with full spools of heavy mono

130lb hollowcore to 130 mono. I have caught tons of sharks all with short 100yd topshots of mono and a lot of braid. It is all preference.
