That is pretty sweet, mine is just a small publix style "old lady" cart. 20bucks at the flea market and they last about 2 years before completely falling apart

I am in the process of building a cart. I looked around and could not find anything I liked so I started getting creative. The parts are still all in the garage until I get a local guy to do some aluminum welding. The base is a jet ski dolly, and the two racks will consist of an old tray of a gulf cart and the old tool box from my truck. Will be mounting a rod rack to hold 6 rods as well. It will be heavy but the big tires roll with ease over sand. The kayak will slide in on top of the rails, under the rack/box. The many trips to/from the truck were great therapy after I busted my knee but I can not wait for the day when I just pack up and walk down to the water, one time only!

I am just west of Pompano beach. There are a bunch of places around, I just need to get off my butt and "git r done." My pops swears he has a business card to a custom fence guy that welds aluminum. He said the guy will cut me a deal. I will take some measurements and draft up some sketches this weekend.

My Kayak is the Blue Lifetime 8 footer I got from sports authority last year in a pre black friday deal. It was $135 and I got it with the intention for only droppin baits. I need to get some dimensions for a larger kayak so I know it will fit in the future when I get a "real" ocean kayak.

I builtshawns cart a few years ago for myself it was made very tall because the beach we fished at the time is underwater in most parts at high tide. We could roll the huge cart through foot deep water and not get our things wet. Anyway if anyone is looking for a car, aluminum rod holders(not just a piece of aluminum pipe) cargo carrier(I suggest anyone that fishes from a car or SUV have one of these they keep your rods ad coolers out of your car). I also make truck bed rod holders and holders that lock onto the tail gate. It is great to keep your rods separate and not sliding around in the bed of a truck or smashed together in your car. I can make just about anything please feel free 2 email me at beachsharking@gmail.com

Been a while but the cart is finished.

Took out the cart for the first time (for the BTC, which I got skunked in Jupiter and ended up with a busted Knee from a sneaky wave :(

I also have a handle for it so it can be pushed or pulled with ease. The cart fits in the back of the Tacoma.

It is slightly over loaded in this pic since it is holding gear for three, but it still moves over the sand. The bait cooler I borrowed is a little big for it too. There would ideally be a smaller bait cooler and a food/drink cooler in the tray.

Overall, the idea is to have a cart that holds everything so I (or me and another) can walk to spots far away from the public beaches to avoid being harassed for overnight trips.
