I have decided to buy a penn special senator 114H2LW reel for kayaking baits out and shark fishing from the beach... and also maybe some shark fishing from the pier... what rod should I pair this reel with? I kinda want to stay under $150 if I can

im looking at the Penn mariner stand up rod from a 6 foot to 7 foot rod.. would this be an alright rod?
