Just got her paid off today... Well $700 later here she is...
Just got all the Dacron off of her she has a two piece spool no pitting or rust on it...
The Dacron had a blood knot about 500 yards in it,I took about 1000 yards of Dacron off in all.
I'm really happy with the condition of this reel clicker works great drag is very stong.
I'm thinking of putting 130lb-150lb mono on it to start off with just to get the hang of it.
I'm going to talk to Timmy-T next time I see him and see if he will build a rod for it.
I'm trying to get some what ready for the BHC...
200 lb mono I wouldn't play around with a reel that size id go 200 minimum that reel is huge and you don't want to be cut off anything at all lol

Very nice. I still have mine. It got retired last year, but I'll never sell it. A true giant workhorse.
Very, very good condition, I'll trade you a nickel and a pbj sandwich for it... we've already discussed my ideas for spooling it up, I may be able to get you some fair prices on different lines from different friends depending on what you want to fish on it.

snake guides over time get bent out and sometimes break. there are better guides out there now then the snake guides. unless your going for the old school look.
Something I know about Jimmy is he is as old school as a young guy gets 
, he fishes ancient hurricane rods that have been passed down from his long gone dynasty of levelwinders.
