Could someone explain like the best way to do it.. I just spooled the 14/0 with some new 125 lb test fishing line and we just got a nice new rod... id rather not put any scratches on her

go get a 4 fooot peace of garden hose cut it down the middle and zip tie it to ur rod

yah green hose pretty ugly though so get hose from home depot clear. zip tie it,than duck tape or masking tape over zip tie so you dont hurt hand during battle.
