Rigging Up

So having come from the tx-sharkfishing.com site, the only leader i have really seen (and the only one anyone on that site seems to use) is the 20/0 circle on 480lb cable swiveled to heavy mono trace and a sliding snap swivel. Just was curious how the folks on here prefer to rig, especially when it comes to bridge or pier fishing. I was thinking of switching to a wind-on leader crimped to a snap swivel, and then having 5' of single strand wire and a 12/0 j hook, and just clip a sinker to the swivel when I need weight. What do you guys think? Thanks for the input.

to each his own on leaders, it breaks down to how you want to fish.

mono, cable, coated cable, #19 wire. everyone will have there .02 but you will learn alot from all the techniques and input. Take what you can and leave the rest. Lots of good guys here.
