JUST RECEIVED THE BIGGEST REEL SEAT AFTCO MAKES, A NUMBER 4, AND IT WON'T COME ANYWHERE CLOSE TO WHERE I WANTED TO INSTALL IT.
FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BUILT THESE, WHAT SEAT DO YOU USE?

Talk to Stuart at Profile rods/Stuart products in North miami beach he might have the old Varmac or Lakeland reel seats laying around.Hope that helps.

Yo Turo! Hey man I tried one of the 28M seats from mudhole and they too didn't even come close. are the stuart seats bigger?

Just had my Unlimited Chaos rod built and the only manufacturer that builds a big enough reelseat for these monster blanks is Stuart at Stuart Industries/Profile rods in Miami.

NICE... UH... GRIPS.
I tried those american tackle seats but they would sit too high for my preference.
I like mine o sit at 14" from the top of the gimbal

What Willy said, Stuart Industries makes a number #6 that will fit and it even has the top sleeve for rod braces. :)
