Question about tiger wrap

I'm trying to build a custom tiger wrap and I've looked at tutorials, but cannot figure out how the thread color will affect the final product. Here is what I'm looking for the final product to be, a white background (blank will white), with predominately blue look. Please let me know what you guys think I should try.

Basically this, but blue with more white in background

There is two different ways you can do this. The type of thread your looking for is called "Trimar thread" & comes in a variety of color combo's. They run about $3-4.00 for a 100 yd spool. The 2nd way is to do a method called "marbleizing" This adds more of a personal touch to your rod with beautiful results afterwards. You can use a simple model paint made by "Testors" for this method combined with your epoxy. An alternative to the paint is a pigment you also add to your epoxy. It's really not as hard as it looks.Shoot me a pm if you need more info & I'll do what I can to help you out. Also, Here is a site you can go on to look around to get ideas & also ask other rod builders http://www.Rodbuilding.org
