ok my girlfriend loves her spiderman push button rod but i think she needs to step up to a spinning rod so i had a old spinning rod i am having joe build for her. it is gonna be spiderman themed with maybe a diamond wrap and all that good stuff to kinda look like webs. but i want to put a pic of spiderman on it and i cant find any decals but i found some cool pics online i can print. so there inlays my question how do i print a picture from a website and put it on the rod. we were thinking if we just glue it on then flex coat it the picture will get dark and messed up. any ideas on how to do this?

Ive done quite a few rods like this & my Harrington 550 has an old school split grip. In between that grip I have a full blown picture of a mermaid layed out on the beach. I found a site & copied it on good quality photo paper but what you want to use is your standard color preserver...but the key to not pulling the ink off paper is to let each coat dry completely or your work will be for nothing. I normally wait around a 20 minutes between coats & apply 3 just to be sure its sealed up good
